Troythix® Anti-Sag4 is a castor oil sulphonate by Troy Corporation. Acts as a rheology control and pigment suspension agent for non-aqueous systems agent. Designed for use in improving sag and settling resistance in non-aqueous systems. It is effective in low viscosity systems such as stains. Used in solvent-based paints and lacquers. Offers compatibility with air- and heat-drying alkyd and epoxy ester. Use level of Troythix® Anti-Sag4 is 0.40-1.20%. Troythix® 21BA by Troy Corporation is a polymerized vegetable oil derivative intended for use in pigmented and non-aqueous oxidizing systems. Troythix® 21BA is used as a thixotropic rheology control agent in solvent-based paints and lacquers. Offers compatibility with air drying acrylic and alkyd, 2-component epoxy and polyurethane, epoxy ester, epoxy phenol and oil modified polyurethane. It has a use level of 0.20-1.20%. Troythix® XYZ by Troy Corporation is a castor oil ester. It is activated by temperature and shear energy to increase viscosity by setting up a gel structure. Used as a rheology control agent in solvent-based paints and lacquers. Troythix® XYZ provides heat activated thixotropy resulting in resistance to sag and settling. Also used in coatings containing aliphatic solvent. Offers compatibility with air-drying alkyd and acrylic, 2-component epoxy and polyurethane, epoxy ester, oil modified polyurethane, unsaturated polyester, and lacquers based on nitro-cellulose, butyrates, vinyl and chlorinated rubber. It has a use level of 0.40-1.70%. Troythix® A is a chemically-modified castor oil ester by Troy Corporation. It is activated by temperature and shear energy. Used as a rheology control agent in solvent-based paints and lacquers. It imparts a highly thixotropic viscosity in non-aqueous systems, improving resistance to sag & settling, improving application properties, and reducing substrate penetration. Troythix® A offers compatibility with air-drying alkyd and acrylic, 2-component epoxy and polyurethane, epoxy ester, oil modified polyurethane, unsaturated polyester, and lacquers based on nitro-cellulose, butyrates, vinyl and chlorinated rubber. Use level of this grade is 0.20-0.70%.
