Acts as a broad-spectrum, fast-acting, long-term, wet-state preservative (biocide). Enables rapid control of contamination and spoilage-causing microorganisms (bacteria, molds and yeast) in the manufacturing environment. Mergal® WP45 is highly cost-effective and has a minimal environmental footprint because of its high activity at very low use levels. Suitable for use in aqueous wood coating systems. Mergal® 758 by Troy Corporation acts as a bactericide or fungicide. It is a formaldehyde-free, VOC-free, broad-spectrum in-can preservative. It is a pH-neutral, free-flowing dispersion product used to prevent deterioration caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast. Also helps to extend paint and stain shelf life. Mergal® 758 combines fast-acting properties with a long lasting protection. Used for waterborne coatings systems. Mergal® BIT20 by Troy Corporation acts as a biocide. Based on BIT chemistry and compatible over a wide pH range. It is heat stable and formaldehyde-free. Mergal® BIT20 offers high pH formulations and is compatible with amines as well as amine containing additives. Designed to inhibit the growth of microorganisms such as bacteria, yeast, and fungi in aqueous based formulations. Broad-spectrum bactericide/fungicide. Is a highly concentrated, ecologically responsible, free-flowing, VOC-free dispersion. Used as an in-can preservative to prevent deterioration and degradation caused by bacteria, fungi and yeast in aqueous systems. Mergal® S89 by Troy Corporation is an aqueous dispersion fungicide/mildewcide/algaecide. Designed as a low VOC additive. Used as a dry film preservative. Mergal® S89 is compatible in a wide variety of formulations and imparts fungal and algal protection when used a appropriate dosages. Mergal® K12 by Troy Corporation is a formaldehyde-free, blend of 5-chloro-N-methylisothiazolinone, N-methylisothiazolinone and 2-bromo-nitropropan-1,3-diol. Mergal® K12 is recommended for water-borne paint. Used as a bactericide, a fungicide and an algaecide for inside applications in aqueous systems such as coatings and offset printing inks. Offers broad, balanced action spectrum against bacteria, yeasts, mold fungi and algae. The product acts quickly and is suitable for systems with a pH of 3-9. Blend of 5-chloro-2-methylisothiazolinone, 2-methylisothiazolinone, methyl-benzimidazol-2-ylcarbamate and 2-n-octylisothiazolinone. Used as a dry film preservative, fungicide, algaecide and bactericide for paints and lacquers. Offers compatibility with aqueous polymer emulsions such as pure acrylic, styrene acrylic, polyvinyl acetate and copolymers, polyvinyl alcohol and vinyl acetate-ethylene pressure polymers.
