Neptune 5223 by Shamrock Technologies is a synthetic wax that has been oxidized to provide water wettability and has a uniform melting range peaking at 97°C. Acts as a slip control agent, abrasion resistance-, rub resistance- and mar/scuff agent. Provides slip, mar/scuff, abrasion resistance, rub resistance and ease of dispersibility properties. Neptune 5223 is used in water-based inks and coatings. It is recommended for liquid and UV inks and coatings. Neptune 1N1 by Shamrock is a polyethylene wax. Acts as a mar resistance agent and slip control agent. Neptune 1N1 is used in water-based inks, wood and industrial coatings. Hydrophilic, micronized polyethylene wax. Used to give lubricity, abrasion resistance and anti-block properties in water-based systems such as interior applications. Provides slip. Neptune 1-N5 by Shamrock is a stable water dispersible grade of synthetic wax showing melting peaks ranging from 93 –106°C. Acts as a slip control agent and mar/scuff agent. Provides slip, mar/scuff and ease of dispersibility properties. Neptune 1-N5 by Shamrock can be used in water-based inks and coatings. Used in both air dry and baked coatings. Suitable for use in both ink and coatings. Recommended dosage level is 1-2% of total formula weight and 1-3% for coatings. Neptune 245 by Shamrock Technologies is an oxidized polyethylene wax. Used in aqueous inks, coil, wood and industrial coatings. Offers superior scuff resistance. Possesses good rub and slip properties. Neptune S-368 N5T by Shamrock Technologies is polyethylene wax. Acts as a mar resistance agent and slip control agent. Neptune S-368 N5T is used in water-based inks, wood and industrial coatings. Synthetic wax. Exhibits good hardness for very good resistance to rub, and abrasion. Hydrophilic, micronized PTFE-based wax. Used to give lubricity and anti-block properties in water-based systems such as interior applications. Improves slip and abrasion resistance.
