Neptune 1-N5 by Shamrock is a stable water dispersible grade of synthetic wax showing melting peaks ranging from 93 –106°C. Acts as a slip control agent and mar/scuff agent. Provides slip, mar/scuff and ease of dispersibility properties. Neptune 1-N5 by Shamrock can be used in water-based inks and coatings. Used in both air dry and baked coatings. Suitable for use in both ink and coatings. Recommended dosage level is 1-2% of total formula weight and 1-3% for coatings.
