AquaFLON® 50 by Shamrock Technologies is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) aqueous dispersion-based slip control agent. Provides high temperature resistance, broad chemical resistance, clarity, gloss retention, transparency and slip (low COF) properties. AquaFLON® 50 is recommended for coatings such as overprint varnishes for can coatings and water-based inkjet formulations. It is also most suitable for thin films applications at 1-5% of solids to the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180. AquaFLON® MG by Shamrock Technologies is an aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and carnauba wax. Acts as a slip control agent, scratch- and abrasion resistance agent. Provides rub resistance, superior optical properties, transparency, clarity, gloss retention and slip (low COF) properties. It is designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water based systems. AquaFLON® MG is recommended for thin film compositions like can coatings, printing inks, and overprint varnishes at 2-4% of total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105 and 175.300. AquaFLON® 797 by Shamrock is a non-ionic aqueous dispersion of synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Acts as a slip control agent, scratch- and abrasion resistance agent. Provides rub resistance, mar/scuff performance, clarity, gloss retention, good slip, scratch and abrasion resistance properties. It is designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water based systems. AquaFLON® 797 is recommended for flexographic and gravure water-based inks. It is also used in a wide variety of industrial coatings, wood finishes, and composite treatments at 1-5% of active solids to the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180. <b>AquaFLON® 178G</b> by <b>Shamrock</b> is a stable aqueous dispersion of a blend of a synthetic wax andpolytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Acts as a slip control agent,and abrasion resistance agent. Provides slip (Low COF), rub and abrasion resistance properties. It is designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water based systems. <b>AquaFLON® 178G</b> is used in water-based inks and industrial coatings. It is recommended for both clear and pigmented compositions, at 1-5% of active solids to the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180. AquaFLON® 52 by Shamrock is a non-ionic aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE). Acts as a slip control, rub- and abrasion resistance agent. Provides high temperature resistance, broad chemical resistance, slip (low COF), rub- and abrasion resistance properties. AquaFLON® 52 is recommended for flexographic and gravure water-based inks and specialty coatings at 1-5% of the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180. AquaFLON® 605 by Shamrock Technologies is a blend of spherical synthetic wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) in a stable aqueous dispersion. Acts as a slip control agent and abrasion resistance agent. Provides anti-marking, ease of incorporation, good slip, scratch and abrasion resistance properties. It is designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water based systems. AquaFLON® 605 is most suitable for thin film applications and clear overprint varnishes. It is recommended for a wide variety of speciality applications in inks and coatings. Its recommended dosage rate is 1-5% solids to the total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170 and 176.180.
