AquaFLON® MG by Shamrock Technologies is an aqueous dispersion of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and carnauba wax. Acts as a slip control agent, scratch- and abrasion resistance agent. Provides rub resistance, superior optical properties, transparency, clarity, gloss retention and slip (low COF) properties. It is designed for stability, pourability and easy incorporation into water based systems. AquaFLON® MG is recommended for thin film compositions like can coatings, printing inks, and overprint varnishes at 2-4% of total formula weight. It meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105 and 175.300.
