Actiron® 2 MI Disperse by Protex is a 2-methylimidazole dispersion. Acts as an accelerator for use with dicyandiamide epoxy hardener. Actiron® 2 MI Disperse is used in powder coatings. Actiron® NX 458 by Protex acts as a non-labelled amine blocked DDBSA based catalyst for stoving systems. It is suitable for water-based and solvent-based coatings and printing inks. Actiron® NX 458 is designed for OEM automotive, coil coatings and general industry. Actiron® CC6 by Protex is choline chloride. Acts as a catalyst. Shows a good latency since it has to undergo a thermal decomposition in order to be activated. ACTIRON thermal decomposition in order to be activated. Actiron® CC6improves the mat and mechanical resistance of the coating without introducing yellowing effect. Is used in hybrids and PU powder coating. Actiron® NXJ 60 P by Protex acts as a versatile catalyst. Allows to lower significantly the curing temperature of the powder coating. Compared to 2 - methyl imidazole, Actiron® NXJ 60 P has better latency and display better flow as well as levelling properties. Is specially adapted for help the cross-linking of epoxy, hybrids, acrylic or polyurethane based powder coating. Actiron® NX3 by Protex is a 2-4-6 tris (dimethyl aminomethyl) phenol. Acts as a catalyst. Suitable for use in epoxy coatings. Blocked sulfonic acid. Acts as a catalyst. Provides wrinkle finishes when used in polyester resin based powder coating formulations in combination with a monomeric tetramethoxymethyl glycoluril cross-linker. Affects the pre-cure rheology and the cross-linking reaction of the cross-linker to form “wrinkle” textures. Used in wrinkle finishes for decorative indoor or outdoor metal furniture, grills, toolboxes, audio-video equipments, file cabinets, and all other goods requiring highly durable finishes. Actiron® NX 91 P by Protex is a tertiary amine. It acts as a latent catalyst for epoxy, hybrid and polyurethane (PU) systems. Actiron® NX 91 P is suitable for use in powder coatings. Actiron® DBT by Protex is dibutyl tin laurate absorbed on a silica carrier. Acts as a catalyst for helping the cross-linking of polyester and polyurethane powder coating based on aliphatic isocyanate, especially uretdione.

Increases the surface hardness without introducing yellowing during the curing phase.

Actiron® DBT allows lowering the curing temperature of the powder coating.

Special highly reactive non yellowing catalyst absorbed on silica. Does not influence negatively the yellowing of the coating. Improves substantially the anticorrosion characteristics of the coating. Is particularly recommended for powder coating systems. Is a wetting and defoaming agent. Accelerates the wetting power of surfactants. Possesses very good de-aerating properties. Facilitates and improves wetting operations in bleaching or dyeing. Proves especially effective in applications involving very dense materials or when used on a continuous basis on hydrophobic articles.
