Actiron® DBT by Protex is dibutyl tin laurate absorbed on a silica carrier. Acts as a catalyst for helping the cross-linking of polyester and polyurethane powder coating based on aliphatic isocyanate, especially uretdione.
- Increases the surface hardness without introducing yellowing during the curing phase.
- Actiron® DBT allows lowering the curing temperature of the powder coating.
