Modarez® X 074 by Protex is a silicone-free substrate wetting agent for water-based systems. It exhibits high anti-crater properties. It is suitable for curtain applications. Modarez® X 074 is recommended for coatings and printing inks. Modarez® SW 452 by Protex is organically modified polysiloxane based wetting substrate additive. It offers excellent performance on surface
tension reduction, without affecting intercoat adhesion. Modarez® SW 452 is designed for printing inks, decorative paints, wood and industrial coatings. Modarez® MFP by Protex is a medium molecular weight acrylic polymer based additive. Acts as a flow and leveling agent for paints, varnishes as well as inks in non-aqueous medium. Reduction in surface defaults: fish eyes, craters, orange peel, pin holes. Modarez® MFP has air-release property with no interference with inter-coat adhesion. Modarez® MFP-E P by Protex is an acrylic copolymer. Acts as a flow agent. Improves the leveling of thermo- setting powder coating and wetting of the paint on the support. Reduces the surface tension and cinetic viscosity during baking. Modarez® MFP-E P also improves the surface appearance ( reduction of orange peel, pin holes, fish eyes...) as well as deaeration of the powder. In some cases the improvement of wetting may also improve the adhesion of the coating onto the substrate. Polyether modified polydimethylsiloxane. Silicone surface additive with a strong reduction of surface tension. Increases surface slip and improves substrate wetting. Displays very good compatibility and can be used as an anti-cratering additive. Strong reduction of surface tension, good anti-blocking and anti-scratch effect. Modarez® MFP E by Protex is a high molecular weight acrylic polymer. Acts as an air release, flow and leveling agent for paints as well as inks in non-aqueous medium. Improves the leveling and DOI. Reduces the surface tension imparting a very good substrate wetting. Modarez® MFP E does not interfere with inter-coat adhesion. Improves surface hardness. Modarez® MFP C by Protex is a very low molecular weight acrylic polymer. Acts as a flow and leveling agent for paints, varnishes as well as inks in non-aqueous medium. Does not cause cloudiness or haze in clear coats as well as not interfere with inter-coat adhesion. Also used in clear powder coatings. Modarez® MFP-G 52 S by Protex is a silicone-free acrylic copolymer and polyester based flow & leveling agent. It exhibits low molecular weight, high compatibility and high gloss. Modarez® MFP-G 52 S is recommended for solvent borne coatings and printing inks. Modarez® PSL 2000 by Protex is a silicone-free acrylic copolymer and polyester based low molecular weight flow & leveling agent. It exhibits wide compatibility with solvent-based systems. It reduces craters, orange peel & pinholes and increases gloss. Modarez® PSL 2000 is recommended for coatings and printing inks. It complies with FDA 175-300 regulation. Acrylic copolymer. Acts as a spreading agent for thermosetting powder paints. Helps to improve the wetting of the paint on the substrates as well as degas the paint during the application and the curing. Improves the appearance of coatings by reducing orange peel effects, fish eyes, pin holes and craters. Used in industrial paints, and especially for acrylic, epoxy, phenolic, polyurethane, polyester or polyvinyl systems.
