Blocked sulfonic acid. Acts as a catalyst. Provides wrinkle finishes when used in polyester resin based powder coating formulations in combination with a monomeric tetramethoxymethyl glycoluril cross-linker. Affects the pre-cure rheology and the cross-linking reaction of the cross-linker to form “wrinkle” textures. Used in wrinkle finishes for decorative indoor or outdoor metal furniture, grills, toolboxes, audio-video equipments, file cabinets, and all other goods requiring highly durable finishes.
