Sillikolloid® P 87 by Hoffmann Mineral acts as a functional filler. It is a natural combination of corpuscular silica and lamellar kaolinite which can be used on its own or combined with other extenders or flatting agents. Suitable for primers & fillers (also for automobile industry), varnishes, exterior & interior emulsion-, silicate- & industrial paints, and wood-, foil- & anti-corrosion coatings.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is quick-drying and exhibits good pigment dispersion with spacer effect.</li>
<li>It possesses high solids content, abrasion resistance, yield point and pseudoplasticity.</li>
<li>It achieves good transparency with a low yellow tinge in unpigmented coatings.</li>
<li>It is weathering- & scratch-resistant and has very soft sediment, very low- abrasiveness & tendency to settle.</li>
<li>It offers a high filling ratio, good wet edge strength and breathability.</li>
<li>Sillikolloid® P 87 is used in solvent-based-, solvent-free- & water-based systems, solder resist inks as well as electrophoretic-, metal (primer-surfacer)- and plastic coatings.</li>
<li>It complies with the standards on basis foodstuffs of the BfR and FDA.</li>
