SYLOID® ED 3 by Grace acts as a matting agent. It is a synthetic, easily dispersible amorphous silica with high porosity. It imparts excellent surface smoothness to the coating. It is used in pigmented furniture coatings, water-based wood coatings, industrial finishes, thin film systems and aqueous UV-curable systems. SYLOID® ED 3 has a shelf life of 12 months. SYLOID® RAD 2105 by Grace is a synthetic amorphous silica used as a matting agent. It provides consistent gloss over small variations in coating weights, excellent viscosity stability and application performance characteristics. <br>

Exhibits less impact on viscosity, resistance to over-grind and neutral pH. Suitable for use in coil and general industrial coatings. SYLOID® 74 has a shelf life of 18 months. SYLOID® ED 5 by Grace is a synthetic, high porosity amorphous silica. Acts as an easily dispersible matting agent. It imparts excellent surface smoothness to the coating. Used in pigmented industrial and trade sales coatings, coil coatings, water-based systems, and unsaturated UV-polyester finishes. SYLOID® ED 5 has a shelf life of 12 months. SYLOID® ED 50 by Grace is a high porosity, synthetic amorphous silica. Acts as a matting agent. It is an easily dispersible grade. Due to its fine particle size and special treatment, it imparts excellent surface properties to the coating film. It is specially organically treated for excellent smoothness and efficiency. Suitable for solvent based wood coating systems. It is used in air drying and oven-dried industrial coatings, trade sales and DIY paints, coil coatings and 2-component polyurethane varnishes. Shelf life of the SYLOID® ED 50 is 12 months. SYLOID® ED 2 is a synthetic, easily dispersible amorphous silica used as a matting agent. Exhibits high porosity and due to its fine particle size, it imparts excellent surface smoothness to the coating film. Suitable for use in coatings for artificial and natural leather, plastics, foils and laminates. SYLOID® ED 2 by Grace has a shelf life of 12 months. SYLOID® W 300 by Grace functions as a matting agent. Imparts excellent dry film properties like clarity, surface feel and polishing resistance to the matted coating film. Offers low dust, which means clean production and no product losses, easy incorporation post addition of the total amount of matting agent possible. Suitable for water-based coating systems. SYLOID® W 300 is a synthetic amorphous silica with a shelf life of 6 months. SYLOID® RAD 2005 is an organically treated, micronized silica gel by Grace. Acts as matting agent for radiation-cured coatings. Offers gloss stability, high matting efficiency, viscosity control, high clarity, minimum de-aeration problems, ease of incorporation and low thickening effect. Provides cost saving in production and application, film flexibility and chemical resistance. SYLOID® RAD 2005 is based on a well-defined particle size distribution and a controlled silica morphology. SYLOID® 162 C by Grace is a synthetic, amorphous silica with an organic surface treatment. It functions as a medium porosity matting agent. Used for coil coatings, acrylate-based UV-curable systems, decorative paints, wood protective systems, air-and oven-dried industrial coatings. Due to its particle size and organic treatment, SYLOID® 162 C imparts excellent scratch resistance and a favorable gloss/sheen ratio to the coating film. Syloid<sup>®</sup> ED 56 is a high porosity, easily dispersible silica matting agent with a special organic treatment. It is specially designed for matting of polyamide-modified thixotropic alkyd systems maintaining the rheology of these resin types. It can also be used in non-thixotropic, clear and pigmented alkyd paints. It exhibits a high matting efficiency and provides excellent surface properties to the finished paint. Mainly used for thixotropic and non-thixotropic decorative and trade sales paints, thixotropic and non-thixotropic wood protective systems, anti-corrosion paints. During handling, precautions should be taken against electrostatic discharges.
