LUDOX® AS-40

LUDOX® AS-40 by Grace is a low-density, colloidal silica. Used as a filler in coating applications.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is an aqueous colloidal dispersion containing 40% synthetic amorphous silica of nominal 22-nanometer particle size.</li> <li>It has a negative surface charge and is stabilized with ammonium hydroxide.</li> <li>It has a low sodium level, an overall negative particle charge, good binding strength, and stability in most applications.</li> <li>LUDOX® AS-40 has a shelf life of 24 months.</li></ul>
