SYLOID® ED 56

Syloid^® ED 56 is a high porosity, easily dispersible silica matting agent with a special organic treatment. It is specially designed for matting of polyamide-modified thixotropic alkyd systems maintaining the rheology of these resin types. It can also be used in non-thixotropic, clear and pigmented alkyd paints. It exhibits a high matting efficiency and provides excellent surface properties to the finished paint. Mainly used for thixotropic and non-thixotropic decorative and trade sales paints, thixotropic and non-thixotropic wood protective systems, anti-corrosion paints. During handling, precautions should be taken against electrostatic discharges.
