SYLOID® ED 50 by Grace is a high porosity, synthetic amorphous silica. Acts as a matting agent. It is an easily dispersible grade. Due to its fine particle size and special treatment, it imparts excellent surface properties to the coating film. It is specially organically treated for excellent smoothness and efficiency. Suitable for solvent based wood coating systems. It is used in air drying and oven-dried industrial coatings, trade sales and DIY paints, coil coatings and 2-component polyurethane varnishes. Shelf life of the SYLOID® ED 50 is 12 months.
