TRIMET® TME Trimethylolethane by GEO Specialty Chemicals is a high performance polyol containing three primary hydroxyl groups. Used in alkyd and polyester resin synthesis to improve resistance to heat, light, hydrolysis and oxidation. Trimethylolethane. Is a high performance polyol containing three primary hydroxyl groups. Acts as a solvent. Has superior weatherability as well as very good color and alkali resistance. Its compact neopentyl structure provides high hydroxyl content as well as very good resistance to the effects of heat, light, hydrolysis and oxidation. Used in alkyd resins, architectural coatings, automotive & industrial coatings, polyester resins, titanium dioxide surface treatment and wood & leather finishes.
