Bisomer® PEG 200 DMA

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

Bisomer® PEG 200 DMA by GEO Specialty Chemicals is Polyethyleneglycol 200 dimethacrylate. Is a low viscosity aliphatic dimethacrylate monomer ideally used as a co-monomer for improving mechanical properties and chemical resistance. Is an excellent reactive diluent in peroxide curable formulations due to its low viscosity and ease of handling, it is non-toxic, non-sensitizing and a non-irritant. It is ideal in dibenzoyl peroxide (BPO) cured applications. Bisomer® PEG 200 DMA offers excellent compatibility with unsaturated polyesters and vinyl esters for gel coat and composite formulations.

Bisomer® PEM6 LD

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

Bisomer® PEM6 LD by GEO Specialty Chemicals is a polyethyleneglycol monomethacrylate. Is a firmly established capping agent in urethane methacrylate oligomers for various applications including UV cure PUDs for field applied coatings. Bisomer® PEM6 LD is hydrophilic and offers a low glass transition temperature (Tg) and low shrinkage on polymerization.

Bisomer® EP 150 DMA

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

Polyalkyleneglycol dimethacrylate. It is based around a 7 unit propylene oxide (PO) backbone, both ends of the chain is capped with 2 moles of ethylene oxide (EO) prior to esterification. Has the inherent ability to modify the hydrophobic/hydrophilic balance in formulated systems. Offering low shrinkage on polymerization and advantageous improvements in impact strength are amongst its major advantages.

Bisomer® PTE

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

N,N-bis-(2-hydroxyethyl)-para-toluidine. It is an aromatic tertiary amine used as an amine activator for use in formulations using organic peroxides. It has reduced toxicity compared to many competitive products. Liquid at room temperature, it can be used as a diol to incorporate amine groups into the backbone of unsaturated polyesters.

Bisomer® C13MA

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

Isotridecyl methacrylate. It is a hydrophobic monofunctional methacrylate monomer with a low glass transition temperature (Tg) and therefore an excellent flexibilizing and plasticizing monomer. In 2k coatings it offers low viscosity and low odor combined with low shrinkage on polymerization. It is also an excellent co-monomer in acrylic and vinyl resins.

Bisomer® DALP

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

Diallyl phthalate (1,2-Benzenedicarboxylic acid, di-2-propenyl ester). Difunctional, flexible crosslinking reactive diluent often used in PVC plastisols. It can be used as a partial replacement for styrene to reduce shrinkage, it can also be used in EPDM rubber to improve the adhesive strength.

Bisomer® LMA 97SP

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

Lauryl methacrylate. It is a non-hazardous, hydrophobic monofunctional methacrylate monomer with a low glass transition temperature (Tg) and therefore an excellent flexibilizing and plasticizing monomer. In 2k coatings it offers low viscosity and low odor combined with low shrinkage on polymerization. It is also an excellent co-monomer in acrylic and vinyl resins.

Bisomer® S20 W

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

50% aqueous solution of methoxy polyethyleneglycol methacrylate. It is an aqueous solution of a long chain methacrylate monoester based on a polyethyleneglycol backbone. It is water soluble and contains approximately 23 EO units within the chain. It is used to introduce non-ionic water dispersible groups into acrylic or vinyl polymers. It is also an excellent flexibilizing molecule due to its low glass transition temperature (Tg).

Bisomer® PPA 6

by GEO Specialty Chemicals

Polypropyleneglycol monoacrylate. Is a firmly established capping agent in urethane acrylate oligomers for various applications including UV cure inks and coatings. It is non-toxic, hydrophobic and offers a low glass transition temperature (Tg) and low shrinkage on polymerization.
