DELTA FC® 1020 by Delta Specialties is silicone-free defoamer. It prevents foam formation during production, filling and application. It demonstrates no negative influence on inter-coat adhesion when overcoated. It possesses strong incompatibility which results in strong defoaming and hence the influence upon the transparency of clear systems and upon cratering must be evaluated. It reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink pan or reservoir during the printing process. It is highly recommended in the application systems such as thermoplastic acrylics, nitrocellulose, acid-curing wood finishes, unsaturated polyesters and cold-curing epoxy systems. It can be used in solvent-based pigment bases and printing inks. It is particularly effective in nitrocellulose-based systems. DELTA FC® 1020 may be used in gravure and flexographic printing. Recommended dosage level is 0.05 to 0.7% for coatings and 0.1-0.7% for printing inks. It has a shelf life of 5 years. DELTA FC® 1522M is an effective defoamer based on a mixture hydrophobic components in hydrocarbon carrier. It possesses a long-lasting defoaming effect
in different synthetic latex and emulsion systems based on styrene-acrylic, styrene-butadiene, acrylic and polyvinyl acetate. It controls the foaming tendency of surfactants in water-based coatings and inks formulations (mill-base and let-down) without affecting the final film properties. It provides very good storage stability. It is used in coatings and printing ink. Recommended dosage level is 0.1-1.0% on total formulation weight. DELTA FC® 1522M has a shelf life of 2 years. DELTA FC® 1522 by Delta Specialties is a mixture of mineral oils and hydrophobic components. It causes no discoloration and may be used in formaldehyde sensitive systems. It controls the foaming tendency of surfactants in water-based coating and ink formulations (mill-base and let-down) especially those based on styrene-butadiene, polyvinyl acetate, acrylic and water-soluble alkyds. Possesses high compatibility which makes it strong in defoaming and hence the influence upon the transparency of clear or non-pigmented systems must be evaluated. Used in ceramics coatings, paper coatings and rubber/latex formulations. Also used in printing ink. DELTA FC® 1501 by Delta Specialties is the mixture of mineral oils and hydrophobic components. It has good storage stability with low tendency to sedimentation over time. It controls the foaming tendency of surfactants in water-based coatings and ink formulations (mill-base and let-down) without affecting the final film properties.

DELTA FC® 1501 has a shelf life of one year.

DELTA FC® 1022 by Delta Specialties is a silicone-based defoamer. Prevents foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application. Also prevents the entrapment of air during processing steps such as dispersion & pumping. Reduces the accumulation of foam in the ink pan or reservoir during the printing process. Particularly suited for curtain coating and recommended in the resin systems such as stoving enamels based on alkyd resins or saturated polyesters, air drying industrial coatings based on medium-oil alkyd resins, thermoplastic acrylics and two-pack systems based on polyurethane and epoxy resins. Particularly effective in nitrocellulose-based systems (gravure and flexographic printing inks). Can be used in solvent-based pigment bases and printing inks. DELTA FC® 1022 is also used in machinery paints, radiator paints, industrial and transportation coatings, and wood finishes. Solution of foam destroying polysiloxanes. Can prevent foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application. Preferably recommended in the resin system such as air-drying systems based on acrylic, vinyl or chlorinated polymers, airless spray coatings and fast-drying industrial and decorative finishes based on medium- to long-oil alkyd resins. Solution of defoaming substances containing silicone. Can be used in pigmented and non-pigmented systems. Is particularly suited for solvent-free epoxy floorings. Achieves a good flow when combined with the silicone-free surface additive. Produces blister-free self levelling coatings. Used in coatings. Silicone-based emulsion with non-ionic surfactants. Is very active in eliminating the existing foam and inhibiting its further formation. Controls the foaming tendency of surfactants during dispersion and further processing in water- and glycol-based pigment pastes and universal colorants. Can efficiently be used in water-based inks as it shows no or minimal effects on film properties. Used in low-PVC emulsion paints (glossy) and water-based clear varnishes. Solution of foam destroying polysiloxanes. Prevents foam and bubble formation during paint production, filling and application. Is highly efficient and offers optimum defoaming while utilizing only minimal quantities of incompatible substances. Has a very wide compatibility, which makes it extremely suitable for use in clear coatings. Is recommended in the application systems such as 2-K PU and epoxy coatings, industrial and decorative finishes based on medium- or long-oil alkyd resins, stoving systems based on alkyd/melamine and epoxy floorings. Can be used in solvent-based pigment bases and printing inks. Is particularly effective in nitrocellulose/PU systems and may be used in gravure and flexographic printing. Mixture of mineral oils and hydrophobic components. Causes no discoloration and may be used in formaldehyde sensitive systems. Controls the foaming tendency of surfactants in water-based coating and ink formulations ( mill-base and let-down ) especially those based on styrene-butadiene, polyvinyl acetate, acrylic and water-soluble alkyds. Possesses high compatibility which makes it strong in defoaming and hence the influence upon the transparency of clear or non-pigmented systems must be evaluated. Used in ceramics coatings, paper coatings and rubber/latex formulations. Also used in printing ink.
