DELTA FC® 1522

DELTA FC® 1522 by Delta Specialties is a mixture of mineral oils and hydrophobic components. It causes no discoloration and may be used in formaldehyde sensitive systems. It controls the foaming tendency of surfactants in water-based coating and ink formulations (mill-base and let-down) especially those based on styrene-butadiene, polyvinyl acetate, acrylic and water-soluble alkyds. Possesses high compatibility which makes it strong in defoaming and hence the influence upon the transparency of clear or non-pigmented systems must be evaluated. Used in ceramics coatings, paper coatings and rubber/latex formulations. Also used in printing ink.
