CRISTOBALEX™ by Covia is a low density, ultra-white reflective filler. It is a specialty silica blend composed primarily of cristobalite (SiO<sub>2</sub>) that is produced from high-purity spherical quartz grains at very high temperature. It offers exceptional brightness, cleaner colors, superior UV resistance, high performance and efficiency. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is different from the silica polymorph of quartz due to its crystal structure. </li>
<li>It provides titanium dioxide extension, particularly in high film build coatings.</li>
<li>CRISTOBALEX™ is suitable for energy-efficient roofing systems, architectural coatings, exterior insulation finishing systems (EIFS), airstrips and road marking paints. </li>
<li>It meets stringent standards for weathering durability, solar reflectivity, whiteness and opacity.</li>
<li>It complies with the requirements of ASTM D6083-Type II for cool elastomeric roofs.</li></ul>
