GRANUSIL® by Covia is a high-performance, chemically inert structural filler. It is produced from high-purity quartz silica, also known as crystalline silica. It provides abrasion resistance in traffic-excessive applications, and is stable in high-solids emulsions, elastomerics, cemented and cementitious systems. <br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is relatively hard and darker in color than regular sand. </li>
<li>It possesses a consistent, uniform grain shape and particle-size distribution.</li>
<li>It contains low-level of soluble ions, alkalis and alkaline oxide which confer non-reactivity to GRANUSIL® in most corrosive and exposed environment.</li>
<li>It offers optimized color, rheology and high compressive strength in industrial flooring-, roof coatings and road marking paints. </li></ul>
