Viscoatex™ 730 by Coatex (Arkema Group) is an acrylic copolymer in aqueous emulsion. It is a synthetic alkali swellable, solvent-free and liquid thickener.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It is highly effective to increase low shear viscosities as well as yield values.</li>
<li>It is an easy to handle as sole product or in combination with a leveling agent.</li>
<li>It allows to adjust viscosities at low shear rates, to avoid settling and sagging.</li>
<li>Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.3% in heavily-filled paint formulations and 0.2-0.6% in wood stains.</li>
<li>Viscoatex™ 730 improves the storage stability and has a shelf life of 6 months.</li></ul> Viscoatex™ 46 by Coatex (Arkema Group) is an anionic acrylic emulsion copolymer. Acts as a thickener for water-based systems. Designed for thick film coatings and interior matt paints. It allows an increase in the yield value i.e. low shear viscosity. Offers very high heat stability, improved brushability and water retention. It offers good suspension and aluminium flake orientation. It stops sagging & synresis and gives a good body to the coating. Compatible with most extenders, mineral pigments and polymer emulsions. Used in neutral or alkaline pH. Applications include textured coatings. Viscoatex™ 46 has a shelf life of 6 months.
