Viscoatex™ 730 by Coatex (Arkema Group) is an acrylic copolymer in aqueous emulsion. It is a synthetic alkali swellable, solvent-free and liquid thickener.
- It is highly effective to increase low shear viscosities as well as yield values.
- It is an easy to handle as sole product or in combination with a leveling agent.
- It allows to adjust viscosities at low shear rates, to avoid settling and sagging.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.05-0.3% in heavily-filled paint formulations and 0.2-0.6% in wood stains.
- Viscoatex™ 730 improves the storage stability and has a shelf life of 6 months.
