12% Iron Hex-Cem® by Borchers (Milliken) is an iron-based primary drier. It acts as an adhesion promoter in anti-corrosion coating applications. It contributes to rapid surface drying and enhanced through-drying, with maximum effectiveness at temperatures greater than 150°C. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li>12% Iron Hex-Cem® is suitable for oxidatively drying coatings, including oil-based baking systems for cans and dark-colored baking systems.</li> <li>The recommended dosage level is 0.01–0.05% metal based on vehicle solids of the coating.</li></ul>
