Dispex® AA 4040 (Old name: Dispex® A 40) by BASF is a standard dispersing agent. It is an ammonium polyacrylate polymer. It has low polydispersity leading to most efficient dispersing properties and liquefying effect. Suitable for inorganic fillers and pigments. Dispex® AA 4040 by BASF is recommended for low-VOC systems. Used in high PVC paints, matt / interior, silk / semi-gloss, wood paints and stains, gloss paints as well as in plasters, exterior and elastic paints. Dispex® Ultra FA 4425 (Old name: Efka® 6225) by BASF acts as a dispersing and wetting agent. It offers maximum color development, high pigment loading and color acceptance in base paints. It makes colorants with excellent compatibility and stability. Dispex® Ultra FA 4425 is suitable for VOC-free systems, universal colorants and tinting systems. It is designed for water- and solvent-based decorative coatings. Its recommended dosage level for universal colorants as inorganic pigments is 5.0–10.0 % on pigment weight, for universal colorants as organic pigments is 10.0–20.0 % on pigment weight and for base paints is 0.5–1.5 % on total base paint. Dispex® CX 4348 by BASF is a low-viscosity dispersing agent designed for efficient dispersion of inorganic pigments and fillers in water-based coating systems, optimizing opacity and cost-efficiency. It is used as the first choice for high-PVC interior wall paints. It allows reduction in total formulation cost by saving binder and titanium dioxide while maintaining paint quality. Dispex® CX 4348 provides excellent wet scrub resistance for durable coatings. Dispex® Ultra CX 4452 by BASF is a high performance dispersing agent designed for efficient dispersion of inorganic pigments, especially titanium dioxide, in water-based systems. It is used to achieve strong viscosity reduction during pigment milling, enabling higher pigment loading. Dispex® AA 4030 (Old name: Pigment Disperser® A) by BASF is a polymeric dispersing agent based on acrylic acid ammonium salt. It is highly efficient with excellent storage stability. It exhibits synergistic effects in combination with polyphosphates. Dispex® AA 4030 is designed for inorganic pigments. Its recommended dosage level is 0.2–1.0 %. Dispex® Ultra PA 4590 (old name:Efka® 4590) by BASF acts as a dispersing agent for inorganic and organic pigments. It is a high molecular weight, APEO-free modified polyacrylate. It improves viscosity reduction and shows high organic pigment loading. It provides excellent gloss and prevents flooding. Dispex® Ultra PA 4590 is designed for pigment concentrates and water-based industrial coatings where cost-effective performance is vital. Dispex® Ultra FA 4420 by BASF is a fatty-acid-modified emulsifier (FAME) and anionic dispersing agent. It will improve compatibility and color acceptance of universal colorants in base paints. It is suitable for inorganic fillers and pigments. It is also suitable as codispersing agent with high-molecularweight dispersing agent. Dispex® Ultra FA 4420 is used in colorants. Dispex® CX 4345 (Old name: Ultradispers® MD 21) by BASF is a sodium salt of carboxylic acid copolymer. It is an anionic dispersing agent. It provides highest wet-scrub resistance and hydrophobic character. Dispex® CX 4345 is used in high PVC paints. Dispex® CX 4230 by BASF is a low VOC, low odor hydrophobic dispersant for titanium dioxide and extender pigments. It offers early blister resistance at high humidity. It provides good dispersant efficiency with excellent gloss development and color acceptance. Dispex® CX 4230 is used for interior- and exterior architectural coatings. Its recommended dosage is 1.0-3.0% based on pigment solids.
