NECOLIN F 2080 SB by ASK Chemicals is a copolymer resin based on fish oil and unsaturated hydrocarbon. It is hydrophobic product and offers good water- & alkali resistance. Suitable for anticorrosive coatings (dosage as 10-20% based on total binder content). Also suitable for wood impregnations & wood varnishes where it improves penetration. NECOLIN F 2080 SB reduces the blistering tendency in high built varnishes (dosage as min. 50 % based in total binder content). As siccative, a combination of 0.4 % cobalt, 0.2 % zirconium and 0.03% calcium is recommended (metal based on solid resin). NECOLIN 3100 by ASK Chemicals is an alkyd resin based on fish oil. It is an oxidative drying solvent-based alkyd resin with medium oil length. The fish oil component provides excellent wetting and penetration properties on different substrates. Suitable for wood impregnating coatings offering outstanding impregnation properties. NECOLIN 3100 is also suitable for anti-corrosive primers improving adhesion and stabilizing residual rust on rusty surfaces with poor pre-treatment. NECOLIN FL 2000 by ASK Chemicals is a copolymer resin based on fish oil and linseed oil. Offers low viscosity and high penetration & wetting properties on wood. Biocides can be incorporated very deeply into the wood fiber because of the excellent penetration of this copolymer. NECOLIN FL 2000 is used instead of alkyd resins for formulating open-pore wood stains, impregnations, wood stains and wood protections.
