ASCONIUM® 500 by ASCOTEC is a VOC-free, organic, liquid-type and long-term anti-corrosion additive. It is optimized for water-based direct to metal coatings. It offers adhesion promotion, better gloss retention, fewer labelling requirements and improved performance for both salt spray and anti-blistering. It can be used at low dosage and is suitable for use in solvent-based systems.<br>
<ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It can be added at any time during manufacture, even post-addition without loss of performance. </li>
<li>It is compatible in water-based acrylic resins, alkyd polymers and epoxy resins. </li>

ASCONIUM® 143 is mainly used in waterborne or solvent borne coatings based on 1K acrylic, 2K acrylic, 1K PU, 2K PU or epoxy resins.<br>

It is mainly used in waterborne, solvent-borne coatings & clearcoat based on pure or modified alkyd, polyester, 1K or 2K polyurethane resins.<br>

It is mainly used in solvent borne alkyd clear coats. It can replace or complete the effect of anti-corrosion pigments as zinc phosphate in many systems. ASCONIUM® 110 is organic and improves adhesion, water resistance and gloss in coating systems. ASCONIUM® 140 by ASCOTEC is a liquid corrosion inhibitor for long term protection of dry film clear coats or paints. ASCONIUM® 140 is mainly used in solvent borne coatings based on alkyd or urethane alkyd resins, and waterborne paints based on 1K or 2K polyurethane resins.
