ASCONIUM® 500

ASCONIUM® 500 by ASCOTEC is a VOC-free, organic, liquid-type and long-term anti-corrosion additive. It is optimized for water-based direct to metal coatings. It offers adhesion promotion, better gloss retention, fewer labelling requirements and improved performance for both salt spray and anti-blistering. It can be used at low dosage and is suitable for use in solvent-based systems.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li>It can be added at any time during manufacture, even post-addition without loss of performance. </li> <li>It is compatible in water-based acrylic resins, alkyd polymers and epoxy resins. </li> <li>ASCONIUM® 500 has upto C5 corrosion class performance depending on the binder and formulation. </li></ul>

ASCOTRAN® H30

ASCOTRAN® H30 by ASCOTEC is a VOC-free, bio-based, ready-to-use flash-rust inhibitor. It is compatible with most binders. It preserves coating’s water resistance. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li> It is optimized for the best price/performance ratio. </li> <li> It is recommended for neutral or alkaline water-based coatings in do-it-yourself, industrial and professional markets. </li> <li> The recommended usage level of ASCOTRAN® H30 is 0.1-0.3% on degreased steel, not rusted, sand-blasted, 0.5-1.5% on cast-iron or rusted substrates, 0.3-1.5% for metal packaging protection. </li> <li> ASCOTRAN® H30 has a shelf life of 2 years. </li></ul>
