S-394 N1

S-394 N1 by Shamrock Technologies acts as matting-, slip control-, rub resistance- and abrasion resistance agent. It is a synthetic wax with a DSC melt peak above 110°C and good onset of melting. It allows recoatability and reduces gloss. It is recommended for liquid and paste inks, solvent-based, water-based, UV, and powder coatings. It can be used for pigmented and clear compositions. It finds application in architectural, automotive, industrial, can, coil and wood coatings. S-394 N1 is also applicable flexographic, gravure, heatset, offset inks, overprint varnish, RadCure and sheetfed inks. Its dosage level for slip and abrasion resistance is 2-3% of total formula weight and for matting is 5-10%.
