Vegetable fatty acid based and phthalic anhydride (content of 30%) alkyd resin. It has good durability and is compatible with other resins. It exhibits adequate wetting properties of pigments & fillers, water- and corrosion-resistance. It offers resistance to weathering & rust attack for metal structures. It enables crosslinking with isocyanate with excellent leveling, light color and hardness. It can be diluted in aromatic solvent such as xylol and toluene. Used in formulation of varnishes for wood, primers and industrial baked enamels.
