Vegetable fatty acid based and phthalic anhydride (content of 28%) alkyd resin. It has good durability, good leveling and is compatible with other resins. It exhibits adequate wetting properties of pigments & fillers, water- and corrosion-resistance. It offers resistance to weathering & rust attack for metal structures. It enables crosslinking with isocyanate with excellent leveling, light color and hardness. It can be diluted in aromatic solvent such as xylol. Used in formulation of varnishes for wood, primers and industrial baked enamels.

Apralcid 15C50

Soy bean oil based (42% content) and phthalic anhydride (35% content) short chain alkyd resin. It has good durability, good leveling and color retention. It exhibits adequate wetting properties of pigments & fillers, water- and corrosion-resistance. It offers resistance to yellowing during baking and compatibility with industrial lacquers. It can be diluted in aromatic solvent such as xylol. Used in formulation of primers and industrial baked enamels.
