SYNAQUA® E21219 distributed by DKSH is an acid functional acrylic resin designed to crosslink at room temperature with epoxy resins or epoxy silanes. It provides very low VOC isocyanate-free waterbased two-pack coating systems.
- It is designed to react with economic bisphenol A type epoxies or epoxy silanes.
- It offers high gloss and good exterior durability.
- In contrast to waterborne polyurethane 2-pack coatings, no reaction with isocyanate or waterborne media is involved.
- This allows coatings based on SYNAQUA® E21219 to achieve high film thickness with a low level of pinholes or surface defects.
- It is used in protection, maintenance and top coats.
- It has a shelf life of 6 months.
