Superslip 6530 by Micro Powders acts as a surface modifier based on a combination of high performance high density polyethylene (HDPE) and ethylene bisstearamide wax. It provides maximum lubricity with scratch & mar resistance, anti-blocking, slip and a smooth surface feel. It offers excellent solvent resistance and does not affect drying rate.
- It reduces dusting buildup on sanding media and is an alternative to PTFE.
- It is designed for water-based, solvent-based and energy curable coatings and inks.
- Superslip 6530 is used in industrial coatings (plastic, metal, leather), wood-, powder-, interior-, & exterior-, can-, container coatings as well as sanding sealers, printing inks and OPV's (including flexo and gravure).
- Recommended dosage level is 0.5-3.0% on total formula weight.
