Superslip 6515AL by Micro Powders acts as a PTFE alternative surface modifier. It is a highly engineered high density polyethylene (HDPE) and amide wax composite reinforced with 300 nm aluminum oxide nanoparticles. It offers maximum scratch-, scuff- and block resistance. It provides good abrasion resistance with slip and lubricity.
- It offers excellent anti-blocking and release properties.
- It is recommended for water-based, solvent-based and energy curable coatings and inks.
- It is used in industrial coatings (plastic, metal), stains, sealers & varnishes, wood-, powder-, can-, container- and coil coatings as well as printing inks and OPVs (flexo and gravure).
- It is FDA 21 CFR 175.300 approved.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.5-1.5% on total formula weight.
