Omnicat 270 by IGM Resins is a photoinitiator recommended for the cationic polymerization of formulations based on epoxies or oxetane.
  • It is a solid of a high-molecular-weight sulfonium salt free of heavy metals.
  • It has very low odor during and after curing.
  • It shows very low migration properties.
  • It is designed for white and pigmented systems.
  • It can be used alone or in combination with suitable photo sensitizers in UV-curable inks and varnishes.
  • It is used in paper, metal, wood and plastic coatings.
  • The recommended addition level for pigmented inks is 2-4%, overprint varnishes is 1-3% and the maximum concentration is 4%.
  • Omnicat 270 has a shelf life of 24 months.
