Photoinitiators

Photoinitiators are white to pale yellow crystalline powders or liquids that enable UV-curable coatings to harden quickly under light exposure. Their chemistry provides fast curing, excellent surface properties, and enhanced chemical resistance, making them suitable for graphic coatings, industrial wood coatings, and protective finishes. 

The industry is shifting towards low-migration and visible-light-curable photoinitiators for safer applications. They are available in free-radical and cationic photoinitiator variants. They meet regulations on low-migration substances in sensitive applications like food packaging.
