POLYOX™ WSR N-12K by IFF is a water-soluble poly(ethylene oxide) polymer. It is frequently used as a thickener, binder and film-forming resin.
- It is a cross-linkable, viscoelastic and thermoplastic polymer that exhibits high solubility and great binding efficiency.
- Due to its viscosity building performance, it is useful in water-based paints and coatings, where it helps prevent dripping and sagging after application to overhead or vertical surfaces.
- POLYOX™ WSR N-12K is recommended for use in aerospace coatings, automotive OEM coatings, architectural coatings, marine coatings and wood coatings.
- It is also suitable for traffic paint, ceramic coatings, release coatings and inks such as automotive, digital, commercial and publication, flexible films, glass and graphic arts.
