Finawax VL

Finawax VL by Fine Organics is hydrophobic in nature and a low molecular weight polyamide wax. It acts as an anti-block and slip additive in printing ink vehicles. It also acts as a coupling agent for polyamide–paraffin wax. It has good solubility in co-solvent and makes a good blend with other polyamide resins. It possesses good scratch and scuff resistance. It permits overprinting without loss of adhesion. It improves the bonding of inks to the plastic surface and also the tape test properties. It is a highly suitable additive for corona untreated films. It also improves anticorrosion properties of lubricating oils. Finawax VL is applicable in gravure-flexo, off-set lithographic, carbon paper and in metal decorating inks.
