BYK® -3760 by BYK is solvent-free, polyether-modified polydimethylsiloxane. Acts as a slip control, anti-cratering, wetting, defoaming, leveling and scratch resistance agent. Provides a strong reduction in the surface tension and improves substrate wetting, and prevents cratering. It increases surface slip, high scratch resistance and stabilizes the foam. Shows solubility in conventional polar solvents and medium-polarity solvents. It can be diluted with water but it is not soluble in water. Used in solvent-borne, aqueous & UV coatings and printing inks. BYK® -3760 is recommended for architectural, general industrial, can, protective, wood and furniture coatings. Complies with REACH regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006. The dosage level for this product is 0.02-0.5%. It has a shelf life of 36 months at 20°C.
