Laroflex® MP 45 by BASF is a copolymer of vinyl chloride and vinyl isobutyl ether. It is a low viscosity, non-hydrolyzable, chlorinated binders for physically drying paints. It shows compatibility with alkyd-acrylic resins, hydrocarbon resins, cyclohexanone aldehyde resin. It provides excellent corrosion protection- and solubility. Laroflex® MP 45 is used for coatings on galvanized steel and aluminum, mineral substrate and flame retardant. It is also used in anti-corrosion-, road marking paints, machinery, automotive and container finishes.
