Dantogard® Plus Liquid Preservative by Arxada is a biocide. It combines a well-recognized bactericide (DMDM Hydantoin, a combination of 1,3-Bis(hydroxymethyl)-5,5-dimethylhydantoin, and 1,(hydroxylmethyl)-5,5-dimethyl hydantoin and 5,5-dimethylhydantoin) with an effective fungicide (Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate).
  • It is based on arxada LLC technology which provides the lowest free formaldehyde (<0.1%).
  • It has improved temperature stability which offers a distinct advantage over competitive DMDMH products.
  • It is easy to use with improved plant safety, reduced regulatory issue and minimum risk to user.
  • It also offers broad spectrum activity, white water clarity, color stabilization and maximum cost-effective preservation.
  • It shows reduction in inventory and storage cost with less need of plant training.
  • Compatible with virtually all raw materials used in household and industrial formulations including anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants, thickening agents, chelating agents, colors and fragrances.
  • Dantogard® Plus Liquid Preservative is recommended for water-based paints for household and industrial use, protective or decorative coatings, latex for paper coatings and water-based inks.
  • It is listed in United States Environmental Protection Agency TSCA Inventory list.
  • It is EPA (6836-271) and UN (UN 3082) registered.
