Proxel® GXL

Proxel® GXL by Arxada is a preservative used for industrial water-based products against spoilage from bacteria, yeasts, and fungi. It has a non-specific mode of action which means that bacterial resistance is very unlikely to occur. <br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It boils without flashing and is stable in the presence of amines. </li> <li> The concentration of Proxel® GXL required to adequately preserve a product depends on several factors which include susceptibility of the system to microbiological degradation, extent to which micro-organisms can gain access, species involved, pH, temperature, and length of time for which protection is required. </li> <li> Proxel® GXL is suitable for use in synthetic polymer emulsions, emulsion paints, printing inks, paper coating compositions. </li> <li> The recommended dosage is 0.05-0.15% w/w for the applications. </li> </ul>

Proxel® BZ Plus

Proxel® BZ Plus by Arxada is an antibacterial/anti-fungal preservative. It is an aqueous dispersion of a blend of 1,2-benzisothiazolin-3-one and zinc 2-pyridine-thiol-1- oxide.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"><li> It offers effective control of a wide range of bacterial and fungal organisms at economic concentrations.</li> <li> It exhibits long-term storage stability.</li> <li> It provides ease of use due to its liquid form and very good compatibility in most aqueous systems.</li> <li> Proxel® BZ Plus is used in paints and stains.</li> </ul>

Dantocol® DHE

Dantocol® DHE by Arxada is a humectant and crosslinking agent. It is suitable for solubilization and high temperature resistant polyester or modified imide-amide wire enamels.<br> <ul style="padding-left: 40px;"> <li> It is suitable for acrylic, epoxy and polyurethane resins.</li> <li> Recommended for inks and specialty coatings including acrylics and polyurethanes.</li> <li> Dantocol® DHE is currently listed in the U.S. EPA TSCA 8(b) inventory list.</li> <li> It requires no precautionary classification and labeling according to Directives 67/548/EEC or 88/379/EEC.</li></ul>
