Parmetol® A 26 N distributed by DKSH acts as a preservative. It is a stabilized aqueous preparation based on chloromethyl-/methylisothiazolone (CMI/MI) and reaction product of ethylene glycol, urea and paraform. It has characteristic odor and contains only biodegradable components. It is suitable for a broad range of water-based formulations.
- It offers a broad and balanced spectrum of effects against bacteria, yeast and mold.
- It is suitable for use in textured coatings and plasters.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.10-0.20% and pH range is 3-9.5.
