IBOA
by allnex
Isobornyl acrylate (IBOA) by allnex is a low viscosity, monofunctional, UV/ EB energy curable reactive diluent. It polymerizes when exposed to sources of free radicals. Its bicyclic structure gives rise to polymers of increased glass transition temperature, while its monofunctionality minimizes crosslinking. Provides good hardness and resiliency combined with flexibility and impact resistance. It is characterized by a wide range of compatibility with oligomers and low color. Offers thermal resistance, low shrinkage and improved water resistance. It maintains high elongation in urethane acrylates. IBOA is used in screen inks and coating applications.

Epotec® RD 108G
by DKSH
Epotec® RD 108G distributed by DKSH is mono-glycidyl ether of C12-C14 fatty alcohol, primarily used as a reactive diluent for high viscosity epoxy resins. It is compatible in all concentrations with epoxy resin and those resins blends can be cured with variety of epoxy hardeners.
- As with other mono-functional aliphatic reactive diluents, increasing the level of Epotec® RD 108G in the epoxy resin blend will extend pot life and alter the properties of the cured resin.
- Since Epotec® RD 108G is aliphatic, it offers the added benefit of superior non-yellowing characteristics compared to aromatic mono-functional reactive diluents.
- Additionally, it demonstrates excellent wetting properties and has a low odor.
- It is used in metal and concrete primers and coatings.
- It has a shelf life of 2 years.
- It is available in Canada.

Epotec® RD 105
by DKSH
Epotec® RD 105 distributed by DKSH is mono-functional reactive diluent based on o-cresol. It is suitable for reducing viscosity of conventional epoxy resins. The blends so prepared can be reacted with all the common curing agents employed for curing epoxy resin.
- It is known for its excellent retention of mechanical and chemical resistance properties relative to other monoepoxide diluents.
- Also it does not influence the reactivity of the blends as it happens in the case with aliphatic monofunctional reactive diluents.
- It is used in paints and coatings.
- It has a shelf life of 2 years.
- Epotec® RD 105 is available in Canada.
