Epotec® RD 105 distributed by DKSH is mono-functional reactive diluent based on o-cresol. It is suitable for reducing viscosity of conventional epoxy resins. The blends so prepared can be reacted with all the common curing agents employed for curing epoxy resin.
- It is known for its excellent retention of mechanical and chemical resistance properties relative to other monoepoxide diluents.
- Also it does not influence the reactivity of the blends as it happens in the case with aliphatic monofunctional reactive diluents.
- It is used in paints and coatings.
- It has a shelf life of 2 years.
