Incozol® LV by Incorez is a low viscosity latent hardener and reactive diluent based on bis-oxazolidine. It can be used as a bi- or tetra-functional curing agent, enabling greater formulation flexibility. It hydrolysis on exposure to moisture, yielding a reactive amine and hydroxyl functional cross-linking agent. Exhibits good flow & application properties, high degree of moisture tolerance and good weather resistance. Shows no effect on gloss, hardness, cure or pot life characteristics. Used for one- and two-component polyurethane systems. It enables the production of low VOC polyurethane coatings without carbon dioxide gassing. Recommended for use in the formulation of coatings where it can replace a portion of the polyol component such as automotive refinish and OEM coatings. Other uses include coatings for boats, industrial maintenance, aircraft, automotive sealants, anti-graffiti lacquers and water-proof coatings. Incozol® LV is also used in high solids, high-build paints, content paints, varnishes and spray applications.
