PowerSorb™ 1000 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-p-cresol-based UV absorber. It imparts good light stability and is available in slightly yellowish colored crystalline powder form. It shows compatibility with styrene homo and copolymers, engineering plastics such as polyesters and acrylic resins, polyvinyl chloride, and other halogen containing polymers and copolymers like vinylidenes, acetals and cellulose esters. It is soluble in dioctyl phthalate, benzene, carbitol, n-hexane, ethanol, ethyl acetate, dichloromethane, methyl methacrylate and styrene. PowerSorb™ 1000 is also suitable for elastomers, polycarbonate blends, polyurethanes, epoxy and some cellulose esters. Recommended for adhesive application. PowerSorb™ 101 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a N-(ethyoxycarbonylphenyl)-N’-methyl-N’-phenylformamidine. It acts as a light stabilizer and provides excellent light protection. It is compatible with polyurethane systems. PowerSorb™ 101 is used in adhesives and sealants applications. PowerSorb™ 3035 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a solid ethyl-2-cyano-3, 3-diphenylacrylate-based UV absorber. It is non-discoloring and chemically non-interactive with reactive monomers and metal-based polymerization catalysts. It can be used in combination with optical brighteners. PowerSorb™ 3035 is compatible with styrenic polymers (ABS, ASA, HIPS, TPE’s), PVC (rigid and flexible), polyesters, polyamides, polyurethane and acrylics. Recommended for adhesive application. PowerSorb™ 312 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a light stabilizer of oxanilide class. It is a N-(2-ethoxyphenyl)-N'-(2-ethylphenyl) oxamide. It offers less discoloring even in alkaline environment and in presence of metal catalyst residue. It is soluble in benzene, n-hexane, dichloromethane and methyl methacrylate. It is available in pale yellow colored powder form. PowerSorb™ 312 is suitable for adhesives and sealants applications. PowerSorb™ 571 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a linear and branched 2-(2H-benzotriazol-2-yl)-6-dodecyl-4-methyl phenol. It is a low volatility liquid UV light absorber. It exhibits good solubility in solvents, monomers, intermediates and can be incorporated in polymerization process. It is compatible with thermoplastic PUR, rigid and plasticized PVC, PVB, PMMA, PVDC, EVOH, EVA, hot cured unsaturated polyesters and spin finishes for PA, PET, PUR & PP fibers. It is also compatible with styrene homo- and co-polymers, elastomers and polyolefins. PowerSorb™ 571 is suitable for water-based adhesives. PowerSorb™ 3000 by TinToll (PCC Group) is a 2, 4-dihydroxybenzophenone-based UV absorber effective in the 280-320 nm range. It prevents yellowing and is available in off-white powder form. It improves weather fastness, optical and mechanical properties of transparent extruded sheets. It is soluble in ethyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone, methyl methacrylate, N-methylpyrrolidone and styrene. It is compatible with polystyrene, polymethacrylates, alkyd, epoxy, unsaturated polyester and phenolic resins. PowerSorb™ 3000 is suitable for rubber-based adhesive application.
