Durez® 12686 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a cashew nut shell oil modified thermoplastic phenolic resin. Acts as a processing aid and reinforcer designed for adhesives applications. Compatible with synthetic elastomers including NBR compounds. It requires the addition of hexamethylenetetramine to make it thermosetting. Durez® 12686 imparts good heat resistance. Durez® 29095 by Sumitomo Bakelite is an oil-soluble, thermoplastic, phenolic resin. Acts as a tackifier and plasticizer. Compatible with SBR, butyl, chlorobutyl, cis-polybutadiene, SBR-BR blends, polyisoprene, NBR and neoprene rubbers. Durez® 29095 is designed for tire manufacturing for tread and butt splicing cement. Durez® 29421 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a thermoplastic, phenolic resin. Acts as a plasticizer and tackifier. It is designed for tire manufacturing for tread and butt splicing cement. Durez® 31399 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a thermoplastic alkyl phenolic resin. Acts as a rubber tackifier designed to provide good initial tack and tack retention. It also acts as a plasticizer and processing aid. Compatible with synthetic elastomers including SBR, EPDM and butyl rubber. It is soluble in most rubber solvents. Durez® 31399 is recommended to be used in adhesive applications like tread splicing cement and pressure sensitive adhesives. It has a shelf life of 12 months. Durez® 12687 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a finely pulverized two-step phenolic resin designed for adhesives applications. Acts as a processing aid and reinforcer. Durez® 12687 has a medium cure and a rigid set.
