Durez® 12686 by Sumitomo Bakelite is a cashew nut shell oil modified thermoplastic phenolic resin. Acts as a processing aid and reinforcer designed for adhesives applications. Compatible with synthetic elastomers including NBR compounds. It requires the addition of hexamethylenetetramine to make it thermosetting. Durez® 12686 imparts good heat resistance.
Durez® 29095 by Sumitomo Bakelite is an oil-soluble, thermoplastic, phenolic resin. Acts as a tackifier and plasticizer. Compatible with SBR, butyl, chlorobutyl, cis-polybutadiene, SBR-BR blends, polyisoprene, NBR and neoprene rubbers. Durez® 29095 is designed for tire manufacturing for tread and butt splicing cement.
