POLYTONE AP 109 by Polyols & Polymers is PTBP (Para tertiary butyl phenol) formaldehyde resin (resole). Acts as a heat reactive alkyl phenolic resin formulated for use in the manufacture of contact adhesives/cements based on polychloroprene or other elastomers. It imparts good open time combined with excellent green tack and cohesive strength in rubber-based adhesives. It is useful for increasing the storage stability and heat resistance of the adhesive. POLYTONE AP 109 has applications in rubber adhesives, upholstery adhesives, shoe adhesives; leather adhesives, automobile adhesives, adhesives with flexing property, rubber goods etc. POLYTONE AP 108 by Polyols & Polymers is PTBP (Para tertiary butyl phenol) formaldehyde resin (resole). Acts as a heat reactive alkyl phenolic resin formulated for use in the manufacture of contact adhesives/cements based on polychloroprene or other elastomers. Adhesives made from it have excellent heat resistance and light color. It imparts excellent green tack and cohesive strength in rubber based adhesives. It is useful for increasing the storage stability, heat resistance and non-phasing of the adhesive. It provides high hardness. excellent and abrasion resistance when cross linked with a methylene donor. POLYTONE AP 131 has applications in rubber adhesives. PTBP (Para tertiary butyl phenol) formaldehyde resin (resole). Acts as a heat reactive alkyl phenolic resin formulated for use in neoprene rubber adhesives. It imparts low initial viscosity and viscosity stability to adhesives of this type. Used in up gradation of neoprene and adhesive grades of Chloroprene rubber used in rubber based adhesives. It provides excellent abrasion-, alkalis diluted acid-, alcohol-, corrosive- & oxidizing atmospheres resistance and weatherability with low pigment reactivity. It is thermally stable up to 180-235°C. POLYTONE ABR 1044 shows outstanding resistance towards ultraviolet degradation and discoloration on heating.
